Blackhawks set to take on the Canucks in Vancouver

After last nights victory the Blackhawks traveled to Vancouver where they will face the Canucks on Wednesday night at 8:30pm. Tomorrow's game 3 will be shown on CSN in Chicago.

The Blackhawks took game two of their Conference Semifinal series with the Vancouver Canucks 4-2. The Canucks got out to an early 2-0 lead after getting goals from Mason Raymond and Mikael Samuelsson. Brent Seabrook finally put the Blackhawks on the board at 7:40 mark in the first. The assist came from Dave Bolland and Kris Versteeg.
Patrick Sharp then added a shorthanded goal at the 6:49 mark of the third period to tie the game at two. Seabrook was credited with the assist on the goal. Later at the 18:30 mark Kris Versteeg picked up his first goal of the playoffs as well to give the Hawks a 3-2. Patrick Kane then added an empty netter at the 19:12 mark to close out the game and to give the Blackhawks a 4-2 win. The Blackhawks with the win evened up the series at one.
Antti Niemi was back in net after getting the hook in game one. He went on to make 24 saves on the 26 shots he faced. Niemi's counterpart Roberto Luongo stopped 30 on 33 shots.

1. Kris Versteeg: 1 goal and 1 assist
2. Brent Seabrook: 1 goal and 2 assists
3. Roberto Luongo: 30 saves on 33 shots

Blackhawks take care of Nashville now will face Vancouver

The Blackhawks finished the first round of the playoffs with a 4-2 series win and started their second round game one the same way they started game one in the first round with a loss. As the Blackhawks were defeated by the Vancouver Canucks 5-1.

Blackhawks finish season 2 and 1record

The Blackhawks finished the season 2-1 as they beat St. Louis 6-5 and took care of the Avalanche 5-2 but fell to the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 to finished the season with a 52-22-8 record good for the second place in the Western Conference.
The Blackhawks will now take on the Nashville Predators starting tonight at the United Center.

Blackhawks rip Dallas Stars 5-2 for their 4th straight win

On Easter the Hawks took care of the Flames 4-1 and also celebrate A Division Title

The Blackhawks beat the Calgary Flames 4-1 on Easter Sunday and also celebrated a Division Title thanks to an earlier loss by the Detroit Red Wings. Blackhawks got goals from Tomas Kopecky, Troy Brouwer, Patrick Kane and Dustin Byfuglien. While Antti Niemi was great between the pipes as he made 25 saves.
